In honor of the lives of survivors, Every Step Counts Organization presents "Walk In Her Shoes - Shoe Fashion Show 2008" - a unique shoe fashion show to raise awareness and funds for organizations working to end violent acts against women and children.

FEATURING GUEST SPEAKER:  Author of Undercover Angel: From Beauty Queen to SWAT Team...a true story. Lockwood's memoir is more than just a thrill-ride; it is tale of self-discovery. The book traces Lisa's evolution from a child hindered by a welfare dependent, upbringing which involved weekly corporal punishment for her and six other siblings from the hand of her father, to a young woman who would stop at nothing to prove herself in ultra-demanding career fields such as the AirForce and law enforcement. The author expertly weaves her often troublesome abusive marriage into the story exposing her vulnerablities. The story concludes with Lisa's arrival at a sense of self-worth and inner peace.
